Another type of tamper-proof sticker is a VOID tag. These stickers cannot be removed without damaging the tag. These tamper-proof stickers are recognizable by their honeycomb pattern. If someone tries to remove the tag, it leaves traces on both the sticker itself and the surface. This makes it immediately apparent if someone has attempted to remove the tag. Even a partial removal attempt will always be visible. VOID tags are often used as warranty seals to prevent equipment from being opened.
